DVD Case
Here is a picture of the DVD case that I made for our film, as I thought it would look more professional if it had it's own DVD case. Were all ready for submission tomorrow now!

Today
A week ago today, after speaking to Louise, we realised that it was really time to start getting on with editing the film, as we were really running out of time and weren't going to have time to correct any improvements. And I feel that since then we have come along so much as a group.
On that Thursday after speaking to Louise, the whole group met, along with teh film students Ben and Webster, and we managed to edit 1 minute of the film in order to have something to show on the Friday, and we were really happy with what we did. Editing was really hard, yet rewarding because to see what you have just produced felt so good.
We then met up on Monday at 1pm and did some more editing taking it to 3 minutes. Again it was difficult, and really time consuming but again rewarding when we could see what we had produced! Wednesday we met up again, and we finished our editing- but there were a few final bits that really needed touching up, and also credits needed to be added and other small details like that.
Today (Thursday) the whole group met at 10 am in the library to sort out our presentation. We went through each slide together, making sure that we had everything off the list that we had been emailed. We had so much research, it was really hard to put it all into one powerpoint. At 11 am, we all made our way to the media factory to meet Ben and Webster, so that we could put final touches to our film such as credits etc and also burn it to disc ready for the presentation the next day.
We added all the credits, with our names and all of the people that helped us with our film; the models, the make up artist, the photographer, the brands and music that we used. However Ben and Webster then started discussing logo's with us, and said that we should have our own logo. So they helped us make one, and our logo said 'Fashion Brand Management- Fashion's Future Generation', we decided to put this at the beginning of the fashion film, along with the title 'Wonderlab'.
We then continued with the presentation, making sure that we had put everything in it that needed to be in it. We then decided who wanted to say what in the presentation, and Francesca put it on the blog, so that each person could go home and prepare something to say. We then went to the library and mounted the trend boards, as we decided that it would be nice to have them to hold up/ pass round the class whilst we were speaking, as they were what we used for our inspiration during the filming.
I then went home and printed out handouts of the powerpoint for Louise and Dave for the next day, and also make a dvd case cover as I thought it would look more professional.
I am really excited to see everyones fashion films tomorrow and show ours as I am really proud of our work, and think we have worked really well as a group!

Presentation and Editing- 26th April
Today the group are meeting up to start designing our presentation ready for hand in putting all our ideas and processes together to show the journey of our fashion film, from the storyline, to make up idea to the models.
We are also meeting up for final editing to make sure that the film is ready for submission and to add extra bits to make sure it is exactly how we would want it.

Meeting with the filmstudents and editing film
Before the Easter holidays and during the holidays the entire group discussed what we wanted and which scenes we want where with our film production students Ben and Webster. Today on the 17th of April at 9pm I met Webster and Ben in the Media factory. They both showed me what they already (during the holidays) edited and we edited some footage together. Then I showed them what footage needs to be added and which scenes need to be speeded up to make it edgy. Afterwards they showed me some music they found, but I thought the music was to slow and not energetic enough for the fashion film. Then I remembered that when we had a meeting with Louise, the group was looking at some music by Gareth Pugh (also the film editor of the Mac make up film that Jordan found). I did not remember which songs we chose but Webster, Ben and me chose a soundtrack of 2011. Then when we watched the edited video (but not finished edited fashion film) it suited the fashion film amazingly. I am very happy that we have such professionals (Ben and Webster) helping us with this project because it makes this project very professional and it prepares us for the outside world.
At 11:30 we looked at the Mac make up fashion film to get some more ideas if needed. Tomorrow or Thursday Ben and Webster will give me the edited scenes for Friday( so we can show Louise what we have done until now). We had about 1 hour and 50 minutes worth of footage. This has then been cut down to 15 minutes worth of footage and we will try to make this as professional as possible. With the best footage and the best stills we calculated that we would have approximately 7 minutes of footage at the end of next week showing only the best results.

Shoot Day two of filming- Behind the scenes
The last day of shooting went really well, the group came together brilliantly and we got everything done we wanted and more which is excellent, i have taken a lot of behind the scenes photographs and picked ones that i think best represent our choices and what we have done today filming.
Here is a dress that the model will be wearing its glittery fitting in with the theme of the trend, but also floaty at the bottom so when the model is moving around it looks good on camera.
Here are a range of ties that Ross has brought so that we can use different ones in the different scenes, the scene we filmed today the bright pink was used to make him look a little more edgy.
Here are a few shirts that Ross has worn throughout the Fashion Film, and also the black braces that he has been filmed wearing.
Here is the make-up done by the make-up artist, Francesca added head piece to the whole look which we all agreed really works well.
The make-up artist Becky then added the glitter lips to add to the whole Wonderlab theme.
Here is our two models together ready to start filming.
Dave then took some stills on a red background that we can add into the film if we needed too.
Here is the media Factory studio that we had from 9:00-1:00 its alot bigger studio so its brilliant for our scenes were were doing today.
Here is Ben, Dave, & Webster helping us set up the studio.
Lights scene where its pitch black and the model just shines the touch around the room and herself.
Model posing for certain shots in the film.
Webster helping to film the dancing scene.
Model dancing, here we wanted to create a fun atmosphere with colours and lighting.
stills of the model again to add into the film.
Close up to show the makeup and headpiece.

Day 2 of the shoot
Today was the second and final day of filming and I'm really happy with the footage that we have, and I think the rest of the group were too. The film students said that we have plenty of footage also which gave us a boost of confidence. I absolutely loved the models fun bright coloured make up I think it really made the shoot. Francesca did a really great thing with a head accessory on the models head which additionally looked great.
The dress was playful yet glittery and in keeping with our theme- and the model was extremely cooperative. Here are a few behind the scenes images from todays shoot.
